THOMAS LOUGHLIN

Thomas Loughlin grew up on Long Island and knew from a young age that living in the city was his destiny.  Having attended culinary school and trained in some of the most respected kitchens in France, it was only natural that he would one day create his own business in the food and beverage world. Humbly nominated as “caterer of the year” by bizbash media.

“What a great career, to be able to celebrate life with your clients, whether it be introducing a great new product, a celebration of marriage or sharing dinner with those you love. To be able to be a part of that is enriching. I don’t know what else I’d rather do.”

BILLY DOVE

Billy Dove moved to New York in 1988 and interviewed with the legendary Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager of Studio 54 fame on his third day in the city (Rubell hired him on one condition – “don’t lose that Oklahoma accent”!).  While working for Morgans Hotel Group, Billy learned how to care for his guests’ every demand with flair, confidence and a midwestern charm.  Dove’s hospitality experience gradually parlayed into serving as a major duomo for some of the New York City’s most discerning clients. “Ihave always felt a great gratification watching the client’s face when they walk into the event space and see their dream come to life”..

What our guests are saying...

  • “Simply amazing.I had the ham and cheese croissant. Girlfriend and friend got burgers. Coffee and lemonade was on point. Very friendly owners. Beautiful location. Love that they have trays to eat outside on a bench as they wait for their sidewalk license. the food never disappoints the quality is unreal.”
  • “The bacon egg and cheese on croissant here might just be the best thing I've eaten in Washington Heights. I realize there's a generous amount of butter involved, but that makes it better and the whole thing is perfectly cooked. The owners, Tom and Billy, are really nice and happy to talk shop with you. Worth making the trip!”
  • “Company on Edgecombe is absolutely amazing. Had a wonderful experience both with the staff and the food. The cafe is very quaint and the staff is super friendly. Definitely recommend the Egg Sandwich (breakfast is served all day!). If you're looking for a good place to have a bite that provides fresh food and warm environment Company on Edgecombe is without a doubt a great place.”
  • “This place is simply amazing! The staff are so hospitable and friendly. And the food is out of this world. Try the bacon, egg and cheese croissant with Gruyere. The buttermilk chicken sandwich is also fantastic. The only problem is I can't eat here everyday.”
  • “The grass fed burgers with local bacon had me watering out of eyes and mouth.”
  • “Fantastic food, fantastic owners. Going to Company has become the weekend routine of my wife and I. The food for breakfast/lunch/dinner is just spot on, with fresh ingredients really bringing everything to another level. The passion of the owners not only comes out in the food, but also in their sense of community where they make the effort to learn the "regulars" names and clearly care about the development of the neighborhood. I Couldn't recommend this place more, you will not be disappointed.”
  • “Friendly staff and excellent chicken and waffles”
  • “The tacos are fantastic! The texture of the fish and the taco shells are perfect, the creme has the right kick and the sesame oil in the slaw brings it all together. You should definitely offer these again. :)”
  • “Amazing food, simple, healthy, freshly prepared, delicious menu and food, staff was incredibly nice!”
  • “The almond croissants are excellent (they have marzipan inside!) and the egg sandwich is as good as ever. It's a lot more crowded here now I guess the word has gotten out!”
  • “I love this place. Their menu is interesting and delicious. I particularly like their burgers and their egg and cheese on a cheddar chive biscuit. It's so great to find a spot in this area that has good coffee. They also sell beans..."
  • “My new favorite spot! Order the burger with blue cheese, grilled onions and bacon served with potato wedges on the side AND IT WAS PHENOMENAL! Also the service here is extremely great they all seem sweet and very welcoming.”
